You guys are teaching her early and well that a person's intrinsic value is separate from that person's behavior. Another good, similar lesson is "wounded people wound people." Too often we think of someone as bad or mean, when really, their behavior is likely a reflection on something wounded deep within them.

Kids keep us real, don't they?

Dan,

Thanks for passing along this very powerful video. I don't know why, but I'm always amazed at how timely and relevant God's word is. Just this week I've been reading the passages shown here (months earlier). Yes, by His stripes we are healed. He was indeed familiar with our suffering. And the punishment so we could have peace, our punishment, was upon Him.

Thank you!

Blessings,
Cheryl

What a great reminder! In addition to what's on our shirt...we need to remember what's on our face. Do we remember each day the many reasons we have to smile?

"Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus, for all generations, forever and ever. Amen." Ephesians 3:20-21

This little light of mine...

Jim,
You should see...plenty of parents' eyes light up just as much as the kids. For a better look, view the three posts following this one and view a local news video clip at http://www2.ljworld.com/videos/2008/feb/10/17196/ . The first room shown is the Jungle (note the hole in the tree for an entrance), followed by the water/ripple effect projected in The Reef. (I'm a little disappointed they didn't show the lunar module and fiber optic stars in the Galaxy.)
